Paper Cranes

Our Reading story last week was The Paper Crane, by Molly Bang. To celebrate the story, we decided to fold our own paper cranes.
There were some complicated folds, but everyone tried their best.
I thought this fold was the hardest, but the kids got this one.
With a lot of help, each kid was able to fold a paper crane of their own.
We had cranes in all kinds of colors! I doubt they can recreate the crane on their own, at home, but you can google how to fold one, and they can give it another try. You need a square piece of paper.

My "practice" cranes.
