Surprise!

Happy New Year! We are settling back into our school routine. We are going to be quite busy from now until the end of the school year!

Today was a very exciting day for us...



Sharkie, from the San Jose Sharks visited us! We are participating in a reading program (Reading is Cool) through the Sharks, and because of the kids' hard work, we got a visit from him!!



We were doing art, so Sharkie grabbed some scissors and did some art!



He hung his art up on the board!



He-or rather, his human helper-talked to the kids about reading.


This is what Sharkie created for us! He autographed it too! He's quite talented!

He left us with autographed pictures and some books for our library!! It was awesome! Oh, and one of our top readers got a hat!!
