Our Reading story last week was The Paper Crane, by Molly Bang. To celebrate the story, we decided to fold our own paper cranes.
With a lot of help, each kid was able to fold a paper crane of their own.
We had cranes in all kinds of colors! I doubt they can recreate the crane on their own, at home, but you can google how to fold one, and they can give it another try. You need a square piece of paper.
My "practice" cranes.
